The terms and conditions governing your use of dancanton.com and associated services.

  • ▸By accessing or using dancanton.com and associated services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service
  • ▸If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Services
  • ▸We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
  • ▸These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of the Services

What We Provide
  • ▸dancanton.com — a portfolio and informational website about Daniel Canton's operational consulting services
  • ▸OpsScore Assessment — a free operational maturity diagnostic tool
  • ▸Scheduling Application — an online booking system that integrates with Google Calendar to facilitate consultation scheduling
  • ▸Blog and educational content about operations, strategy, and AI-powered workflows
Scheduling Service
  • ▸The scheduling application allows you to view available time slots and book consultations
  • ▸Scheduling requires integration with Google Calendar via OAuth to check availability and create events
  • ▸By using the scheduling service, you authorize us to access your Google Calendar data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • ▸Booked consultations are subject to availability and may be rescheduled or cancelled with reasonable notice

User Obligations

  • ▸Provide accurate and complete information when using our Services, including when booking consultations or completing assessments
  • ▸Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms
  • ▸Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other accounts, or systems
  • ▸Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
  • ▸Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Services without express written permission
  • ▸Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Services except as permitted by our robots.txt

Intellectual Property

  • ▸All content on dancanton.com — including text, graphics, logos, designs, code, and the OpsScore framework — is the property of Daniel Canton unless otherwise stated
  • ▸The factory/industrial design system, OpsScore methodology, and associated frameworks are proprietary
  • ▸You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written consent
  • ▸Blog content may be shared with proper attribution and a link back to the original post

Google Calendar Integration

  • ▸The scheduling service uses Google Calendar API to provide availability checking and event creation
  • ▸By connecting your Google account, you grant us limited access to your calendar data as specified by the OAuth scopes you authorize
  • ▸You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions
  • ▸We are not responsible for any issues arising from Google's services, API changes, or downtime
  • ▸Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

Consultations & Professional Services

  • ▸Consultations booked through the scheduling service are subject to separate engagement terms agreed upon between parties
  • ▸The OpsScore assessment and any resulting recommendations are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute professional advice
  • ▸Results and outcomes from consulting engagements depend on many factors and cannot be guaranteed
  • ▸Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation time

Limitation of Liability

  • ▸The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
  • ▸We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
  • ▸In no event shall Daniel Canton be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services
  • ▸Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • ▸Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you

Indemnification

  • ▸You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daniel Canton from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these terms
  • ▸This indemnification obligation survives termination of these terms

Governing Law

  • ▸These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions
  • ▸Any disputes arising from these terms or the Services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration
  • ▸If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect
